JUNIOR DIVISION 1: 10 am JUNIOR DIVISION 2: 12 noon MASTERS: 2.30 pm.
Entries are now open. The closing date will be Saturday February 5th at noon, or earlier if the maximum number of paid entries is reached.
Molesey Head Races, comprising Molesey Veteran Head and Molesey Junior Head will take place on February 12th 2022 on the Molesey Reach of the River Thames. We are very much hoping that Covid and the weather will not disrupt the first event to take place in three years.
Please note that we are operating a maximum number of entries in each division and that entries will close when the number of paid entries reaches this.
The website is now up to date, but please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you find any errors.
We are developing a Covid policy, but waiting as long as reasonable to take account of guidelines. The policy will be published by the beginning of February. In the meantime, we have already agreed the approach below in connection with race entries.
COVID-RELATED MEASURES – ENTRIES
A separate document is being developed which sets out the Heads’ own precautions, and those that clubs must follow. This will be posted at the beginning of February, when the position will be clearer. Clearly, guidance may change at any time and with little notice.
It is also expected that there will be some 2-3 weeks between the publication of the draw and Race Day. For this reason, and in the spirit of the Molesey Regattas last July, the following policy will apply to both MVH and MJH:-
- a) Rule 7-2-4 b WILL apply.
- b) If a crew has to be scratched because of Covid-related circumstances, at any time after the draw has been promulgated, it cannot be replaced but it will receive a full refund of its entry fee.
MVH crews are also reminded of the provisions of Rule 7-2-4 d.
We look forward to receiving your entries and putting on a good event.
